INVESTIURE CEREMONY 2023

Don Bosco Edu - Complex celebrated The Feast of St. Dominic Savio on 6th July 2023. A solemn Eucharist was celebrated in the presence of the Staff and the Students by Fr. Cleofas Braganza, Fr. Crispino D'Souza, Fr. Ajit Munis and Fr. Michael Fernandes. Fr. Cleofas Braganza inspired the students to become like St. Dominic Savio and be role models wherever they are. The Non - Christians had a well-animated Prayer Service. Students decorated notice boards with colourful posters to express their love for St. Dominic Savio which were displayed throughout the sections.

After the Holy Mass and the Prayer Service, the Investiture Ceremony began with a grand guard of honour. The management team and the section heads were escorted by the flag bearers. The Captains, Head Boy and Head Girl, Sports Secretaries and Health and Hygiene captains were invested with ties by Fr. Rector - Rev. Fr. Crispino D’Souza. The House Captains were invested with ties by Fr. Michael Fernandes and the Monitors were invested with ties by Fr. Ajit Munis. During the well-organised Installation Ceremony for the academic year 2023 - 24 the students took the oath to fulfil the duties given to them by the institution and to honour and protect the integrity of the post and to always serve and support the institution.

Fr. Crispino D'Souza gave wonderful examples of young saints - St. Dominic Savio and St. Maria Goretti, model Saints for Boys and Girls, who by their holy lives set example of pureness and holiness for the youth. The investiture ceremony was meticulously organized by the Secondary section and the backdrop beautifully done by the Primary section.

The ceremony ended with an incredible vote of thanks by the Supervisor of the Higher Secondary Section, Sir Leo D'Souza as he expressed his gratitude towards the management team, teachers, non-teaching staff and students for making this ceremony a grand success. Fr. Principal appreciated the efforts of everyone and inspired the students to be humble and obedient. The day ended on a happy note.
