PUNE, AUG.15: The patriotic fever was experienced at its best as DB Pune celebrated the 73rd Independence Day with great enthusiasm and joy.The vibrant flag took place at the hands of the Guest of honour Master Shreyas Suryavanshi(SSC Topper, March 2019) and his mother. The students of TR.Dyon's class, STD.IX-A presented the cultural patriotic show through their meaningful class assembly based on the theme patriotism and independence.
In his inspiring speech, Master Shreyas expressed his gratitude towards the school and the teachers for having a lion's share in his achievement. Addressing the students, he said,"Compare yourself with your own earlier performance, not with the others. Every time, try to achieve better than your last achievement." He also shared a few tips that took him to the everest of his academic success." The school made the function more musical through their melodious presentations of patriotic songs including the National Anthem. Rector Fr.Michael Bansode, Administrator Fr.Thomas, Asst. Parish Priest FR.Evangelo were present on this occasion. Principal Fr.Bosco D'mello proposed vote of thanks.
